BRIAN TITUS – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Brian Titus, CAFM was the Chief Financial Officer since 2003 until he became the Chief Operating Officer of the Osoyoos Indian Band Development Corporation in 2011.

Brian is a member of the Trondek Hwechin of Dawson City Yukon, and has lived in British Columbia since 1987. Brian has been an Accountant for various First Nation organizations over the years , such as the Sto:lo Natioin, Chehalis, and the Osoyoos Indian Band Development Corporation.

As the Chief Operating Officer Brian works closely with the Executive Management Team in giving direction to them in achieving the vision and strategic goals of the OIBDC. Brian oversees and supports the effective operations of all Band businesses while seeking new business opportunities and negotiates land leases on the Bands behalf. Brian works closely with his direct reports of the Chief Operating Officer, the Human Resources Manager, and the Business Development Officer.

Brian holds many positions; As President of the Aboriginal Financial Officer’s Association BC Chapter, Vice President of NK’Mip Cellars, and a Board member of the First Nations Financial Management Board of Canada.
